Lara Johnston is a Toronto-based editor who has worked for such filmmakers as Patricia Rozema, Brian De Palma and Cary Fukunaga. Her work for television includes Fellow Travelers (Paramount +/Showtime), The Consultant (MGM/Amazon) and Chapelwaite (Epix/MGM+). She was nominated for a CSA for Patricia Rozema’s Mouthpiece, which was the opening film for the Special Presentations programme at TIFF in 2018, and won the CCE and DGC Feature Editing awards for that film. She holds a BA in Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto and an MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University.
